Dr Pol Giménez-Gil holds a BSc in Food Engineering from the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, a Master’s degree in Research on Fermented Beverages, from Rovira i Virgili University (URV), and a PhD in Oenology from the URV. He has served as a postdoctoral researcher at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. His current scientific and research interests focus on wine science, food chemistry, metabolomics, mass spectrometry, chromatography, cyclic economy, and analytical chemistry. His work has been published in various international scientific journals and has participated in European and international research projects.
